Rachel Brosnahan

Rachel Brosnahan (*12. Juli 1990 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. Bekannt wurde sie durch ihre Rollen in House of Cards (2013–2015), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023) und Love, Simon (2018).

Brosnahan wuchs in Highland Park, Illinois, auf und schloss 2008 die High School ab. Anschließend studierte sie Schauspiel an der Tisch School of the Arts in New York, wo sie 2012 ihren Abschluss machte.

Ihre erste Filmrolle hatte sie 2009 in The Unborn. Danach folgten Gastauftritte in Serien wie Gossip Girl (2010), Good Wife (2010) und Grey’s Anatomy (2013). 2013 übernahm sie die Rolle der Rachel Posner in House of Cards, die ihr eine Emmy-Nominierung einbrachte.
