Charlie Heller ist ein brillanter, aber stark introvertierter Decoder für die CIA, der in einem Kellerbüro am Hauptsitz in Langley arbeitet. Kind of a slow burner but in a good way. No crazy over the top action it seemed actually grounded in reality. I also liked the aspect of the first kill. Something I'd never seen before.

Was waiting for The Twist which never came. In a way it was a twist that there was no twist. The Cameo from Jon Bernthal was useless (Best part is his code name The Bear)

The Amateur is a tolerable remake; better than the original. Rami Malek does a decent job but good hell, he really needs to learn to use a gun. The final standoff is by far the weakest part of the film and is hard to forgive. Best to suspend criticism and just enjoy what this movie has to offer.
