Alicia Florrick, die unverwüstliche Ehefrau eines gefallenen Staatsanwalts nimmt nach der Sex- und Korruptionsaffäre ihres berühmten Ehemanns die Zügel ihres Lebens selbst in die Hand. Neben der Erziehung ihrer beiden Kinder im Teenageralter verfolgt sie ihre ursprüngliche Karriere als Strafverteidigerin weiter einen Weg, den sie verlassen hat, als sie die Frau eines Politikers wurde. Sie beginnt in der Kanzlei eines ehemaligen Studienkollegen zu arbeiten und betritt zum ersten Mal nach dreizehn Jahren wieder einen Gerichtssaal. Dort muss Florrick nicht nur ihr Können während der Verhandlung unter Beweis stellen, sondern sich auch dem gnadenlosen Wettbewerb mit der etwas über 20-jährigen Konkurrenz aussetzen. Doch Alicia ist fest entschlossen, sich und ihren Kindern einen Neuanfang zu erarbeiten - Fall für Fall...

the series finale did not satisfy me at all .. :-/
One of the best television shows on adult programming in a while, sad to see it go but it had run its course. I'm so glad it went the way it did, true to the story from beginning to end.
I feel like whoever marketed and named this show did a really shoddy job. Myself and a number of friends had absolutely no desire to watch this show as we thought it was about a struggling housewife trying to keep it all together while her husband was in jail. This show is the opposite. It’s clever, engaging, has some plot twists, the regular characters are likeable and the enemies are really infuriating. This show is well written, entertaining and deserving of a good rating.
Just finished binge watching the whole show and i have never liked and disliked a show this much at the same time in my entire life! On one hand, the cases, plots and story telling is just a masterpiece! That's why on the other hand they could've done waaay better than casting a transgender Michael Jackson to play a latent whore in constant heat. Laying it on a bit thick with nazi feminist ideas (which always ends up ruining everything) and the cliché suck up to zionism leaves a bad taste in the mouth. At the end of the day, by filtering the political agenda BS i enjoyed the core of it, a great TV Show about law and even though it falls short of perfect for the mentioned reasons it's still the best in its genre.
Best show on adult programming just ended. Loved every moment of it, the characters, the story, the energy. Saddest thing, it will be truly missed.
