ممثل ومنتج ومخرج أمريكي، ولد في 28 نوفمبر عام 1950 في تينافلي بنيو جيرسي بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. تخرج من المدرسة الثانوية والتحق بجامعة كولومبيا وعقب مشاهدته للعروض المسرحية المحلية بدأ بالانجذاب للتمثيل. توجه إلى أوكلاهوما والتحق هناك بجامعة أوكلاهوما قسم المسرح. وبعد التخرج انتقل الى لوس أنجلوس للعثور على عمل بمجال التمثيل. كانت بداية ظهورة في مسلسل (Gibbsville) عام 1976. من أبرز أعماله (Apollo 13) و(Apollo 13) و(Pollock) و(Appaloosa) و(Westworld).
