God, I love this movie.

This is a single movie, with multiple director's adding bits and pieces, while 2 directors drive the majority. Both stories are solid on their own, but the tie-together is why this is, as previously stated, a single movie. I saw this in theaters, and a few times after on DVD/Blu-Ray, but it had been quite a while prior to the viewing I wrote this review about, so 18 years later, holy cow (and we got Machete!)...

Not the biggest fan of either director, but I can appreciate the artistry that comes with the movie. Hell, even the movie format is artistry. Grindhouse is intended to be watch back to back with these weird trailers. Both movies are fun. Not the best of either guy, but both are fun and wild rides. Planet Terror slightly edges out Death Proof, but I wouldn’t say there is a giant difference in the quality. Rating: 3/5 - 75% - Worth Watching

I watched this movie just now... I think. Not sure though, since my version was only 91 minutes...
