The same old Giallo recipe under a modernized lens, with all it's customary strengths and weaknesses. I don't usually go for Giallos because the ones I've seen have minimal story and characterization for the sake of style and mystery and this one's no exception. Never really knew or cared for the characters, all we really know about them is who they hook up with. The story is a snooze fest and the runtime really doesn't help. But in-between all that bullshit are the cool over-the-top bloody graphic kills and that's what redeems it a bit. The very first kill was the best but there's also one that was filmed in one long five minute take that was enjoyable (the choreography really showed though and it was a tad bit repetitive). For the budget this had good cinematography with bright colors here and there, the score used does the job at creating that Giallo vibe, and I really liked the killer's costume design. The killer reveal was so predictable so not a very good mystery and that's a big stab for a Giallo.

A Brutally Delicious Fun Fest of A Film... A Must See Film For Fans of Homicidal Intrigue... So much fun watching this unfold and evolve, characters were a joy to see in action. It didn't feel forced as many of the movies of late, I genuinely felt connected to each of them as they pushed us Into each new piece of the story created here. A must see for fans of mystery and intrigue...
