So far I'm on episode 05 & it's the one of the best anime of 2023....

I never heard of this before but I’m really enjoying it. I think it has been really good so far. It also looks great

This show is really good at hooking it's claws in you early on and making you want to watch the next episods, But towards the end it gets pretty boring and it loses it's fizz. The last final fights were pretty boring and plagued with the most annoying anime trope with mid battle flashbacks trying to bait you into sympathy and understanding for each charcter. After the flashback the battles seemed super rush and not really a challenge for our antagonists.

This is absolutely an elite series. The mysticism can be a bit heavy-handed, but the character depth is absolutely outstanding. I don't think I would call the MC OP, he certainly is one of the most talented, but it's due to decades of hard work....and he certainly takes his share of beatings. There are so many characters in the show that will stick with you for quite a long time. I hate the way that they end each season on a cliffhanger, it's honestly my biggest gripe with this series. Another cliffhanger at the end of season 2, we better get a season 3!
