I watched this because of the poster, it looked like *Color Out of Space* meets *Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell* or something. It kinda is but it sure isn't made by no Lovecraft. The first thing that comes to mind is the terrible musical choices, never goes with the vibe and it's so generic. The acting is kinda passable because it's just as campy as everything else happening. It needed more funny one-liners and there's moments where it takes itself too seriously for the B-movie that it is. Still, it had it's moments and by that I mean a lot of blood and gore and nice practical effects. The kills are satisfying, there's a prison cell kill where someone is split in two *Terrifier* style and a beheading kill that was so funny and silly with some Ewok Gremlins that absolutely stole the show, so fun! Pretty sure I heard Chewbacca for a second when a creature was growling. Very decent creature design overall. I was enjoying it until the Loki villain with the awful twist at the end of the second act. It went from campy to laughable in a split second, too silly and dumb to a level that transcends dimensions. All that was needed was more fun monsters but we got a cosplay instead.

Great low budget horror with amazing lovecraftian practical effects. Plot is great, characters are likeable and the movie overall is very funny and gory. Highly recommend to those who like B movies
