This movie was a dumpster fire with a equally terrible story. Who the heck survives
a shovel splitting a head, and a shovel separating the knees and not bleed out.
The acting was passable at best and it just wasn't good.
This was really strange and trippy, overall a good time, not great but enjoyable at least.
Surprisingly not that bad (granted I went into the theater with pretty low expectations.) There are some interesting new ideas in the movie. However those ideas are overshadowed by a mostly middling slasher filck. I think the film’s short runtime benefits the overall experience. This became an instant horror classic for me
I stumbled across an add for this on Instagram I believe. From the brief glimpse I had seen it looked like something I’d be into. It was really nice to see Sean William Scott back on the big screen. I totally dug how they filmed this in 16mm. It really gave it that old school, grimy, slasher feel to it. The movie had some promising ideas but it never fully executed everything. The practical effects and make up design were excellent. This had a few incredible looking gory moments. The doll face look was really creepy and intimidating. It’s a serviceable low budget horror movie. It just moves a bit slow and slightly drags but it was decent enough. * Dolly Early Access at AMC Crestwood 18
