Acting is thin. Karen Carpenter thin. Plot ripped from tragic news stories and mangled without sensitivity. Gore hilariously fake. At least there were some boobs.

Squealer is a film that won't win awards for originality, but it's a well-crafted and unsettling horror experience with something to offer beyond the gore. The committed performances and exploration of disturbing themes make it a worthy addition to the genre.
