A good remake of the 1968 classic. It does not work quite as well as the original, but it definitely comes close. A successful remake, but you still should also watch the original.

30 years ago today Tom Savini and George A. Romero released the only Night of the Living Dead remake that matters.

Night of The Living Dead improves upon the original in terms of pacing, zombies, graphic violence, Barbra's character, and the execution of some minor plot points. However, Ben and Harry are insufferable, and the ending is significantly weaker. A decent zombie flick overall, but the '68 film remains superior.
