Tetsuya Nishio

Tetsuya Nishio (西尾 鉄也, Nishio Tetsuya, nacido el 23 de junio de 1968) es un animador y diseñador de personajes japonés de la prefectura de Aichi. Comenzó su carrera en 1988 como animador «in-between» de la serie de televisión Osomatsu-kun. Perteneció a Studio Pierrot antes de unirse a Production I.G.
Es considerado uno de los «Tres dioses de IG» junto con Hiroyuki Okiura y Kazuchika Kise y fue galardonado con el Premio al Mejor Diseño de Personajes en la octava edición de los Tokyo Anime Awards en 2009 por su destacado trabajo en Surcadores del cielo, donde diseñó los personajes y fue supervisor de animación principal.
