A ton of meta humor and cameos make this fun. Not the most inspired work but worth a watch if you like the characters of Jay and Silent Bob.

Making pop culture references is not a substitute to humour.

I'm glad Kevin Smith got to do what I can only hope & assume is his vanity-project, but... OOF! This turned out look more like sad midlife-crisis in trying to relive the glory-days of 2 decades ago.

I didn't think it was as bad as some people say. I enjoyed it. Especially the brutally honest description of what Reboots and Remakes are. There's some breaking the 4th wall humor and a ton of cameos. I would say this movie pretty much expects you to know who Jay and Silent Bob are, so if you don't a lot of the jokes would just fly over your head. I'm really happy Kevin Smith got to make it. Though I would not recommend it to anyone who isn't a Kevin Smith fan already.
