Sinopsis
Basada en la verdadera historia de la tripulación del buque de guerra USS Indianapolis, que quedaron a la deriva en el mar de Filipinas durante 5 días tras entregar la bombas atómicas que tiempo después se lanzarían sobre Japón para dar fin a la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Mientras esperaban el rescate, sufrieron de hambre, sed y la amenaza de los tiburones.

It is not a great movie, but it is a good movie, some (most) of the special effects are bad, but the story itself is fantastic.

Despite the dodgy direction and low budget, this tragic tale maintains some emotion at the injustice and tragedy of the real life event. However, there is still a better film to be made on the subject.

Great story, not a great movie. A modern remake could probably do it justice as the special FX were not great.
