Written from the point of view of being a fan of Pink Floyd. There are several versions available: a) the original 60 minute concert, released in cinemas in 1972 and many years later on DVD - this is the one trakt is referencing; b) an extended version, including interviews and other clips, released some 2 years after the original; c) 2025 remixes and restoration, available on CD, blu-ray and 4k. I saw the band twice in the course of 6 or so months at the time, the 2nd not long before the filming at Pompeii in late 1971. The set contains nothing written by Syd Barrett; it is taken from later albums and is very familiar to me. The interviews and other clips in the extended version were staged after the release of 'Dark Side of the Moon'. rather than before. Perhaps of more interest to fans, they also somewhat break up the concert's flow. The performances are excellent, although I accept that I may be feeling a touch of nostalgia. I can recommend it as probably the best record of where the band were at the time and how together as a unit.
