So happy I went to see this in theater. I've seen Ghost live many times, and this is almost as good... in some regards better than attending an actual show. For being almost two and a half hours, the time just flies by. As for the set: these are mostly newer songs - Impera era, and Prequelle era. Expect the big hits. Sadly not as much from the first two albums. A highlight was the piano and strings version of "If You Have Ghosts." The production itself is stellar! Might be the best concert video I have ever seen. This should really be the new standard for rock/metal bands. Besides the songs, we get the normal chitchat from Papa (Cardi C, in this case), and also "backstage footage." It's all very Ghost: funny, moving, rocking. Truly a treat for all fans of Ghost.
I'm not a ghost fan, I went for my girlfriend and I enjoyed it actually, going to check out some more of the music on Spotify
A brilliant masterpiece that showcases the organic talent that Tobias and the band bring forth in a well produced concert movie filmed by well renowned Swedish filmmaker Jonas Akerlund.
I don't really keep up to date with Ghost lore, so a lot of those parts of the movie were sort of lost on me and didn't really add much. That being said, as someone who loves their music and has had the pleasure of seeing them live, this was an absolute treat to watch! The time flew by and I was headbanging almost from start to finish. Really brought back great memories of seeing them live and made me want to do it all over again!
