Good Dracula movie where Dracula doesn’t speak....but it’s effective. Some gory scenes but overall I enjoyed it
Dracula of the Hammer, Hammer style. We liked it. Francis Matthews comes out of Follow me, a program to learn English that he gave on TV in Spain, many years ago
It takes quite a while for Dracula to appear in the film and unfortunately the four central characters charged with being potential food for the Count are dull and stupid making them very difficult to care for. However, Dracula's return is very effective and creepy with some clever effects that still hold up well. Lee is also perhaps even more menacing here than in the previous entry, and this without speaking a single line of dialogue in the whole film - perhaps that was the point. The pace picks up considerably once he appears and particularly enjoyable is Andrew Keir as a warrior monk. It's a shame the the finale is a little anticlimactic with Dracula's demise a little underwhelming.
