I feel bad for everyone who accepted to participate on this. It didn’t work neither as a horror or a comedy.

This was genuinely one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. The deaths are all soooo over the top and the dialogue is super clever. The sequence with the real estate agent had me howling. "So no business card then." I thought I would enjoy this movie coming in but it completely blew my expectations out of the water.. no pun intended.

The Monkey is a film I really wanted to love. The monkey itself was great, as was the sound design and some of the kills, but the story was underwhelming, the characters were lame, and some of the dialog was cheap. The conflicting moods clash more than they mingle and the jokes often don't land. The film would be much improved had it taken itself a bit more seriously.

A ton of fun. The deaths are over the top and creative. I laughed multiple times.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. One can’t take it too seriously but just needs to enjoy the ride. Multiple times I laughed out loud.
