Do yourself a favor, skip this movie.

When you finish the movie and ask your self "WTF I just watched"

I’m glad this movie is only about 90 minutes long. It’s a complete disaster, and I would have been frustrated if it had taken longer. By the end of the movie, I was just miserable watching it.

The whole film tested my patience. The characters’ decisions felt unbelievably stupid, the plot became increasingly senseless…. the cover ups?? Anxiety inducing…I was mostly thinking, What the actual F is it….

Adulthood (2025) is one of those easy watches that goes down smooth while you’re watching it, but doesn’t necessarily linger afterward. It pulls from some pretty rehashed plot ideas — themes we’ve seen explored many times before — and at moments it feels like it’s reaching to be more profound than it ultimately lands. That said, it’s a decent movie. The performances are solid, the pacing is clean, and there’s nothing here that actively drags it down. It’s competently made and emotionally serviceable, which is sometimes enough. I don’t really have anything negative to say about it… but I also don’t see myself revisiting it anytime soon. Rating: 2.5/5 – 70% – Worth Watching
