It loses a star simply for being about basketball, a sport I loathe, but it gets at least two stars back for how incredibly 90's the whole thing is, from the patterns on the clothes to the way Sidney wears his hat to the way Gloria dramatically skates away on roller blades at the end, it's all amazing. Also, no one ever told me Jeopardy! was such a big plot point!

Snappy dialogue, charming direction, and a killer cast cover up for a plot that sometimes is driven by contrivance more than natural events. But Snipes, Harrelson, and Perez all sell it, and it’s impossible not to have fun watching this, even when it gets more sad than you’d expect.

It's as good as the weed Woody Harrelson was using during the filming of the movie. Acting was alright, sweat was alright, basketball was present in the room with us.

It started good and funny, but after a while it got a little bit boring..

Two cool guys in a classic comedy drama. Just watch and enjoy.
