Regarding the missing season 3 of "The Missing"; Although Netflix does show this as season 3 of "The Missing", according to IMDB and TMDB it is a new show (spin-off) called "Baptiste". You can find it here: https://trakt.tv/shows/baptiste

One of the best dark British anthology shows of the past decade! Tcheky Karyo's character (Baptiste) is one of the most fun detectives to watch in English language television of the 21st century. While both Seasons are good, I preferred the Second. Also, don't forget to watch Baptiste after finishing this series! Something special happens in _The Missing_ Season 1. Nesbitt and Karyo make this season one of the most interesting and most intense of recent memory. What makes the casting of these two so powerful is that they act as complete opposites--Karyo is cerebral patient, kind and thoughtful; while Nesbitt is a furnace of anger, energy and action. It doesn't always make sense why Karyo puts up with Nesbitt's character, but you could say that Karyo never gives up. And while Nesbitt is smart here, his constant over intensity is a lot to take. It's a bit like tea that's steeped for too long. The second season of _The Missing_, while being less raw then the first, was better in my opinion. It focused far more on Karyo as a character digging into his complicated motivations and past. None of the other characters really standout, but that adds to the power of Karyo's performance. The story would have been clearer without some of the complicated drama between back characters. In addition, the show lacked a bit in terms of overall explanation. Still a great series in a great show.
