Karl Alberg moves to a quiet coastal town to soothe a psyche that has been battered by big-city police work but finds himself needing to call upon all his skills to solve the murders that continue to wash up on his shore.

I like this show, I don’t get the negative whining about it.
Decent comfort TV to watch in the background - only one brain cell is needed to follow the plot. UPDATE: Episodes get worse and worse… even in the background it became too painfully lame.
So far, I'm really disappointed; Kristin Kreuk role doesn't do her justice. Her talent is sooo underestimated in this show :slight_frown:😒 Cassandra is just used as love interest.. window dressing.... Edit: 1x05, ok a tiny bit of material to her character.
good pilot a mystery with none of the political crap that is many new shows today. the murder takes place in the first few minutes and the rest of the episode is character building for the rest of the series. The mystery was not all that obscure, but the resolution of the tension was a bit of a surprise. I look forward to the next episode.
I binge watched this show on Hulu and really enjoyed it. It took a little getting used to, but once I got to EP3 I was hooked. I love Kristin Kruek as Cassandra and even though it took me a hot minute to get used to main lead Rossif Sutherland as Chief Alberg, by the last ep, I was a fan. And I really liked both of them together. At first I was skeptical about their chemistry. But they grew on me. Just like this show. Glad there’s going to be a second season.
