Honestly, that was such a wonderful conclusion to such a sad story. The mystery is excellent and keeps you anticipating the next episode. At first, I thought they would just include unnecessary sex scenes, and while those might have been used to attract viewers, the story is so well driven that it truly holds your attention. It might not be the best thing I’ve ever watched, but it is far from average. 8/10
56 Days was a blast tbh. The acting was top notch especially from such a limited cast, they each stood out imo and the way that the story connected together really made the story shine. There was a lot of tension in the score/soundtrack which is something I’ve never said but needs to be highlighted. The first 4 episodes were great but it picks up heavily once the last 4 come into play/when people start discovering everything. Overall, nice to see Avan and Dove back on the screens in this kind of way. Also glad it wasn’t overly sexual, just enough to be intimate like the romance-crime-thriller it is. Definitely a great watch!
the archetype of form over substance. multimillion dollar views for supposedly struggling characters. sex scenes when ever the storyline got lost, which was often. never thought sex scenes could be made boring. i was wrong. almost as plastic as dove camerons face apparently now is. awful
Waste of time dont watch
Overall entertaining. Plot was interesting and banter between characters was good, especially between the detectives, which made up for the rather over the top acting and unnecessary steamy rapport between the two main. The show is binge-worthy - not a masterpiece by any stretch but a good way to kill time for sure.
