Just a Baby Boy.
The story of Jody, a misguided, 20-year-old African-American who is really just a baby boy finally forced-kicking and screaming to face the commitments of real life. Streetwise and jobless, he has not only fathered two children by two different women-Yvette and Peanut but still lives with his own mother. He can't seem to strike a balance or find direction in his chaotic life.

My favorite movie of all time. Not sure why but I just love it. I've seen well over 30 times.
Over the top, melodramatic, and hilarious.
This one reminded me a bit of the Boys N the Hood. You have to like this genre of movies, because not much happens in it. You mainly follow someone's life and everything surrounding it. I enjoyed this movie very well.
> "You know what your problem is, baby boy? You got shit all twisted. You got an Oedipus complex. You want your mamma to be your woman, but this is my woman." Wow, I am glad I finally watched this. John Singleton had already impressed me with Boyz n the Hood and Poetic Justice, and this is in the same league as those. I know Tyrese Gibson from his screaming and one liners in the Fast and Furious and Transformers films, but his acting is really good in Baby Boy.
