Synopsis
A young Brooklyn boy witnesses the brutal murder of his mother and grows up obsessed with finding her killer. Thus begins his life as a quiet, straight-A student by day and a self-appointed hero at night. But what is a real hero? And who decides what is right or wrong? This may be the best superhero movie that is not based in a major camp like DC or Marvel. _Boy Wonder_ captures the reality of what it would mean to be a "superhero," and did it a decade before _The Batman_ - I mean, come on, tell me you couldn't see Sean Donovan walking the rainy streets of Gotham City with Bruce Wayne, looking for thugs to pound into the pavement. Great ending. This movie truly is one of a kind.

There was some seriously awful cinematography in this. But it is one of the rare occasions where it can't hide a good story. Sure, its violent in places, but it is also touching and good. With a good ending. A surprise gem.
