Everett Backstrom (Rainn Wilson) ist jähzornig und beleidigend, vor allem aber ein ausgesprochen brillianter Ermittler. Seine gegensätzliche Chefin (Genenieve Angelson) versucht, ihn emotional unter Kontrolle zu halten.

In form and style, Backstrom is exactly what viewers have come to expect from "House" wannabes.
Series with great potential and personality are piling up and getting canceled. And this is another one. There are dozens of series with the same formula, but they had 5, 6, and even more seasons. This one deserved more.
It was pretty good, I really liked it, it was like seeing a fat and a bit more emotional Dr. House being a cop. Too bad it was cancelled
