Kumail Nanjiani (geb. 21. Februar 1978) ist ein pakistanisch-amerikanischer Stand-Up-Comedian, Film- und Fernsehschauspieler und Podcast-Moderator, bekannt als Hauptdarsteller der Fernsehserie "Silicon Valley", sowie für die Stimme von Prismo in der Animationsserie "Adventure Time". Er ist auch Co-Moderator der Comedy Central Show "The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail" und zweier Podcasts: "The Indoor Kids" und "The X-Files Files". Im Jahr 2017 spielte Nanjiani in "The Big Sick", einem halb-autobiografischen Film, den er zusammen mit seiner Frau Emily V. Gordon schrieb, der lose auf ihrer eigenen Beziehung basiert. Der Film brachte dem Paar eine Nominierung für den Oscar für das beste Originaldrehbuch ein.
