


Key & Peele ist eine US-amerikanische Sketch-Comedy-Fernsehserie. Darin sind Keegan-Michael Key und Jordan Peele zu sehen, beide ehemalige Darsteller von MADtv. Jede Episode der Show besteht aus mehreren vorab aufgezeichneten Skizzen mit den beiden Schauspielern, die von Key und Peele vor einem Live-Studiopublikum vorgestellt werden.

Why do black comedians always have to talk about what it feels like "being back in a white mans world"? Let the comedy speak for itself, I hate when comedians have to make things about race to get a few laughs.. Never see this from white comedians. Other than that, not a bad show. Watch it all the time. BUT!! I just hate when shows like these are like.. "We back", "as a African American", "Having a white friend", "White people always like".. ect ect ect IN EVERY EPISODE!!!! WE GET IT, YOU'RE BLACK!!! NOBODY CARES!!!! LET IT DIE!!!
A solid sketch comedy show. Has its share of ups and downs, but is pretty consistent between all of its seasons. A few top-tier sketches in each season, but a lot of dry ones along the way as well. Par for the course for this type of show, but still something to be aware of. Both comedians play a wide range of characters, which is pretty entertaining in and of itself. (+) Smart, funny sketches that can be really goofy at times (+) Solid flow for sketch and stand-up material (+) Creative, wide range of sketch material (=) Repetitive structures of jokes, specifically referring to race (blacks vs. whites) (-) Some really terrible sketches that felt more like filler (-) Episodes can at times drag on for too long Final Verdict: 7/10 (Good)
I just love this show and how smart and stupid it is, this show is one of the funniest tv shows that i have ever watched and probably will ever see.

"Key & Peele" didn't really make me laugh that often, as I would have expected from a sketch comedy show. To count how many times I've really laughed, I don't need more than two hands. Unfortunately, in most cases, there was simply not much more than a smile to be had. In addition, the decision was made to completely omit the moderation element in season 4 & 5 and to replace it with cutscenes in which Key & Peele just have conversations in a car, which I thought was a shame because it took a lot of the show's character away. The show was entertaining nonetheless, but I had higher expectations from such a highly acclaimed show...
