Er gilt als der faktische Kopf der Hip-Hop-Gruppe Wu-Tang Clan und produzierte die meisten Alben der Gruppe sowie ihrer Mitglieder. Bekannt für seinen charakteristischen Einsatz von Soul-Samples, minimalistischen Beats und cineastischen Elementen, hat sein Produktionsstil den Hip-Hop maßgeblich beeinflusst.
