Cookie-cutter plot with the main characters making non-sensical decisions that just wouldn't happen in real life. Worst is Clive Owen's wooden performance. He's just not good enough to carry this movie as the main character.

> "Always chain your door in a place like this." I remember watching this when it came and I was pretty horrified by Vincent Cassel's performance. He can be so cruel and aggressive but then turn on the charm whenever he needs to. A lot of this movie can be avoided if they had done a few things that regular people would've thought of, but other than that it's a good thriller.
