A boy spends Christmas with his girlfriend's strange family.

This was a weird movie in that it wasn't enough of anything. It wasn't 80's enough, or funny enough, or campy enough, or dramatic enough. But at the same time, it was also strangely watchable, possibly because it wasn't THAT bad. That is, until it did get bad in the final minutes.
