I started watching this German movie because Nina Hoss is one of my favourite German actresses. The movie is a bit of a mind-fuck. It’s one of those movies where at times you wonder whether it’s a waste of time watching it, and suddenly there’s a plot twist that proves you wrong. I watched the movie with English subtitles, since I don’t speak German. I don’t think it impacted the enjoyment, since the story and character arcs are not complex.
