A decent cast, but a poor script. This could have been so much better, but Paul Walker was not the one to carry this movie. Tony Curran would have been much better as the lead. He didn't get much of a part and he is an excellent actor. Don't get me wrong, I like Paul and he did an okay job, but I wasn't impressed by his performance. As for the story, it had its moments, but it got very predictable. Had it maintained the mystery more, the story would have been much better.
Sometimes dark and moody is just dull, not atmospheric. I persevered for an hour, but still didn't think it was worth watching the last 30 minutes. I'm not sure even Paul Walker fans would enjoy this, and it is a different character (with the same style) as F&F
It's a poor film, but Paul Walker saves it from coming out much worse. This performance of Walker's is the best I've seen of him away from the 'Fast & Furious' franchise, as everything else around him in 'The Lazarus Project' fails to make an impression his showing is terrific. Bob Gunton, if I had to pick someone, is the pick of the others. The story features an intriguing concept, but I can't say I was ever all that interested in it due to the way the film portrays it; which is a bit too episodic. They just show one thing, then the next and then the next and it never feels well connected. There is no mystique, despite a mystique-filled premise.
The movie itself was OK, but I gave it 1 more point UP for Paul Walker, who is an excellent actor!
