I hadn't read or heard anything about The Slumber Party Massacre, and was so ready for this to be bad... Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a rather good 80s slasher flick. It's of course filled with 80s slasher stuff like 30-year-old women playing teenagers and gratuitous nudity, but it still manages to be a rather ok movie. If you like slashers, try this one out.

Gratuitous nudity, nasty violence, and a cheesy script: Yup, its 80s horror time!! It's not a great movie but you have seen worse!

"How pretty. All of you were very pretty." I am looking respectfully. This was genuinely hilarious. The neverending fakeouts. The absurdly long drill. The music. The fridge. Mr. Contact. Casually putting down a pizza box on top of a corpse. Didn't expect to like this one as much as I did. TSPM2, here I come! (What'd you say? There's a Sorority House Massacre series too? And a Cheerleader Massacre series? And a reboot? This is gonna take a while...)
