How rare is it to find a funny, thoughtful and endearing comedy? Look no further - this movie was all of those things without following the standard Hollywood patterns. You know, the ones where you can write the rest of the movie when you've only seen the first 20 minutes. It wasn't really a romantic comedy but it was rather endearing in its own right. Ricky Gervais was fantastic and Tea Leoni was also exceptional. Why isn't she a bigger star? The film wasn't without flaws (there was mediocre dialogue in some areas) but it was still very worthwhile.

A typical Ricky Gervais comedy that is more than just a light comedy. I love his (mostly) intelligent humour, his humanity and sensibilithalpst are again present throughout this movie. The lovely Tea Leoni helps to make the story work, just as does Greg Kinnear. Not just funny a ghost story with a neurotic main protagonist but more than that. Worth your time, especially for fans of Ricky.

Great talent involved but largely squandered. Not as funny as it should have been given a solid comedy premise. **Ghost** already covered this material.
