While I enjoyed this film a bit more than I thought I would, it was really nothing special. Not surprisingly, it works best when Thurman and Streep are on screen and not as well when they aren't. Happy romance, funny family drama, bittersweet ending. Just saw this a couple of months ago -- can't believe it's fifteen years old (kinda hammers at the bittersweet element for me). I do love all of the characters! ❤
