Après l’agression brutale d’une adolescente lors d’une soirée techno clandestine sur la plage, une atmosphère chargée de soupçons s’installe dans la région. Au fil des épisodes, on retrace le fil des événements qui ont mené à l’attaque. Chassant secrets et mensonges, la vérité se fait jour sur les rivalités qui divisent un groupe disparate d’adolescents et d’adolescentes et leurs parents.

[Channel 4] It begins as an interesting youth drama proposal that builds ambiguous characters marked by the need to protect those close to them. But it becomes less interesting as the script ticks off the checklist of social issues (immigration, hidden homosexuality, class differences, sexism...), until it ends up using basic thriller narrative devices to construct a disappointing ending that resolves lightly what seemed like the main event driving the story.
It is like an English version of Euphoria. I thought it was really good. Hopefully they'll make a second season 🏻
