This movie was good but...lowkey boring? Idk it's based off a true story so I guess they can't change that part, but something tells me even the original story is more interesting.

This movie is made for a serial killer type of person. They need stuff to watch too. Things they can relate to. I can't imagine normal people need to see this.

Same premise as *The Passenger* (2023) where we follow two different types of characters on a road trip and enjoy the character dynamics, but there's a third passenger bringing unpredictability into the mix; Spanky the chimp. It started strong but got really flat in the middle. Spanky doesn't do much, he just fades into the background. Good acting from the two leads but Jacob Elordi is the standout. I didn't find the character dynamics that interesting or fresh though. Questionnable soundtrack choices. Hated the voiceover. Unsatisfying ending. The real life interview at the end was more interesting.
