SO HORRID THAT MADE ME WATCH THE ORIGINAL MOVIE JUST TO WASH THIS TURD OFF MY EYES. STOP REMAKING MOVIES FOR GENZ. THEY DON'T HAVE THE MENTAL CAPACITY TO APPRECIATE THEM.

Soulless corporate slop. Have not been so bored in a long time. Needlessly long, nothing happening most of the time.
Random characters added here an there and then killed, like someone should care. Few action scenes, but nothing special.
. With the good director I hoped at least it would be visually interesting, but looks like it was just paycheck, nothing more.
The Running Man runs itself into the ground. There was a moment early in the film when I felt like Edgar Wright might pull it off, but the fun eventually turned into fatigue. Some characters are poorly written, the conclusion falls apart, and the experience is thirty minutes too long.
The Running Man is fine for what it is. The concept is solid, the pacing keeps things moving, and there are a few memorable moments that still land. It leans hard into spectacle over depth, and the characters are pretty one note, but the movie knows its lane and mostly sticks to it. Not amazing, not terrible just an entertaining watch if you're in the mood for something straightforward and fast.
