Decent serial killer horror about Doctor Palmer, a pathologist-turned-author who inadvertently inspires a serial killer who's still at large to re-surface, start killing again, threatening people close to him when he publishes a novel about the case. The killer murders the victims and leaves only bones belonging to them behind but no bodies. It's not as sharp as other entries from the era, such as _The Silence of the Lambs_ or _Se7en_ but entertaining nonetheless. I mean this is a made-for-cable film so that's not really a fair comparison. It's formulaic and the investigation part is on the weaker side but overall it's intriguing and suspenseful. The suspense, mystery, and family drama mix well together with some cool effects involving bone removal. Worth a view.
