Synopsis
C’est l’ultime portrait d’une figure complexe : l’autrichienne Hedy Lamarr. Deux vies, l’une officielle : actrice qui fascine le monde par sa beauté et par sa liberté sexuelle scandaleuse, l’une plus secrète, un esprit scientifique insoupçonné qui participa à l’invention d’un système secret de communication dans les années 1940. Unlike Hedy Lamarr this documentary is not a bombshell. Having read about Lamarr's life story before, I came to the documentary hoping that it would be enlightening beyond what is commonly available. Instead, I came away feeling bad for Lamarr doubly for what happened to her and for what this documentary did too her as well.

One of the most fascinating actresses of all time. She was a screen siren, escapee of Hitler's Germany and the inventor of WiFi. What an amazing story! Well done documentary.
