6.5/10 The man who took independent, guerilla film making to a level that no one ever could have anticipated. A lot of people, both directors and actors, owe an enormous amount to this man and his years and years of work. The doc gets interviews from people through all stages of his career, but it mainly focuses on the start and middle-ground, with some of his bigger budget efforts sprinkled in between. I thought it was well done, but sections of his career just took up too much time when it could have been focused more-so on the ground-breaking work, the ones he felt most proud of, the most attention getting, etc. Would make a good double-bill with "Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films" and "That Guy Dick Miller" (RIP)
