Appropriately gruesome and made with some imagination, but by the film's resolution, the film wasn't as good as it could have been. A better film is out there.
Really annoying kids made the movie even harder to watch
Starts a bit slow. But once the action starts, the movie becomes interesting. Not bad for a low budget indie movie.
When I watched "He's Out There," I couldn't help but notice how dumb the Americans in the movie are. They constantly leave the door open and never lock their cars. They even leave their phones in the car, which is just stupid in this day and age. But that's not all. The characters also behave totally irrationally. A good example of this is when the child is poisoned. The mother doesn't seem to immediately realize that she should drive to the hospital or call for emergency services. Instead, she tries to solve the problem on her own, which leads to dangerous consequences. The film itself is okay, but it's hard to focus on the plot when you keep stumbling upon the strange behavior of the characters. The movie is also very predictable, so there are no big surprises. All in all, "He's Out There" is an average horror movie that unfortunately sabotages itself with the stupidity and irrational behavior of the characters. However, if you enjoy horror movies and don't mind this type of behavior, it could still be an entertaining film.
Scrapes a 6 on creep factor.
