Synopsis
Jackie, une jeune femme perturbée, ayant une inflexible dépendance à l'alcool, libérée d’un centre de réhabilitation, se voit accorder une seconde chance, avec un nouvel emploi et un appartement meublé à Havenhurst, un immeuble de style gothique de Manhattan. Enfin déculpabilisée de la perte tragique de sa petite fille de 8 ans, Jackie est rapidement aspirée dans les mystères de Havenhurst, en particulier la disparition non résolue de la précédente occupante de son appartement, une jeune femme avec laquelle elle s’était liée d'amitié en cure de désintoxication et qui a disparu sans laisser de trace...

Well....this was bad! :D If they wanted to use real serial killer (H.H. Holmes in this case), they should have use that story as a main focus, and I think that that would be a great movie, with a sick story. But here you have some backstory about him in like a sentence or two, and we see his picture in like the first 5 minutes, so you know what will happen in the movie :D No MYSTERY aspect at all! Bad script, bad dialog.... and that "white" guy!?? Why? What?? :D Ok, nice touch in the end with that twist, but...not enough for better rate... 4/10.

If you're looking for a scary hotel movie, book into the Overlook (The Shining). Still, this isn't a bad effort, but given a bigger budget it could have been a lot more inventive.
