Synopsis
Kid l'insaisissable continue ses agissements et veut cette fois s'emparer d'un œuf de Pâques de grande valeur. Ennemi juré de Conan, celui-ci tentera de l'arrêter alors qu'un autre danger le guette : un meurtrier du nom de Scorpion. D'autres prendront part à l'aventure, à savoir : Ran, Agasa, Mouri et les Détective Boys.

Kaito Kid's first appearance in cinema. And what a way to introduce him! The rivalry between Conan and Kid is one of the most entertaining things in the entire franchise. They're basically the same person on opposite sides of the law, geniuses, arrogant, always two steps ahead of everyone else. Watching how they try to outdo each other while collaborating without wanting to admit it is brutal. [SPOILER] The MacGuffin of the Imperial Easter Eggs of the Romanovs gives it a historical backdrop that elevates the story. It's not just a "catch the thief" story, there's a family plot with roots in the Russian Revolution that connects everything. The heiress, the secret of the Memory Egg, the serial killer pursuing Kid... the layers of mystery are revealed perfectly. [/SPOILER] And I don't want to write more about the plot. This movie is one of the best in the saga, without a doubt.
