If you want to see how much comedy has changed in the last 40 years, watch this Otherwise, watch anything else

Incredible cast. Screenplay by the guy that wrote a lot of the Mel Brooks films. But it still kinda sucks.

'80s horror comedy, kind of gets into spoof territory also. With such a great cast, one would expect this to be a classic, but the writing keeps it in the realm of mediocrity. That's not to say the movie is a total waste. There are some big laughs, but they are few and far between. The closest analog to this would be _Young Frankenstein_ (1974), but even Brooks' fans would have a hard time getting through this one. The less said about this one, the better. It's worth one watch. Otherwise, totally forgettable. All that has ever, and will ever, stick with me about this is Geena Davis. Man, who knew she was such a babe?!
