Psychedelic horror at its worst. While watching this I really had to ask myself, "just how much acid were they on while making this?" The acting, and dialog are both terrible. The score sounds like someone bought a synth, and gave it to a person who had never heard music before and told them to make noise. The movie is barely over an hour and it feels like a long second act; seriously there is no first act, and no ending. The movie may be called _Legacy of Satan_, but they never mention Satan once, instead we get a cult of mods who worship someone named Rakesh. Also, for a '70s horror movie like this, I am shocked at the lack of nudity; I mean there was near nudity, but given the era, and subject matter, there should have been skin from start to finish. As bad as this is, there are actually some beautiful shots that reminded me of Jean Rollin. Beyond that, the movie was a waste of time. The plot makes zero sense, but here goes: our couple, Maya, and George, have a friend who is a member of a cult, he invites them to a party where the cult will seduce Maya, George manages to obtain a lightsaber - three years before the first Star Wars movie - the cult leader develops a terminal case of bad makeup. The end. _Legacy of Satan_ is slow, boring, goes nowhere, does nothing, doesn't make sense, and has no beginning or end.
