Was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Acting was good. But I felt like it was missing something. Maybe needed a stronger storyline. Feels like it started some story and was dropped halfway through. Watch it if you can but don’t hunt it down.

Diabolic had all the ingredients for something decent on paper. A moody atmosphere, a solid cast, and a premise that promised psychological tension mixed with supernatural dread. Unfortunately, it never quite cooks. The first act actually builds some intrigue—creepy visuals, unsettling sound design, and a lead performance that feels genuinely haunted. I was invested enough to think this could go somewhere interesting. But once the plot kicks into gear, it just collapses under its own weight. Visually it’s competent (some genuinely striking shots), and the acting is better than the material deserves, but that’s not enough to save a story this sloppy and hollow. It wants to be profound and terrifying but ends up feeling like a tired retread of better films, without anything fresh or memorable to say. Worth a watch if it’s on streaming and you’re bored, but don’t go out of your way. Disappointing.

The filmmakers spent the budget on homosexuality, leaving no budget for the film itself, resulting in a ridiculous and time-wasting movie. A complete waste of time. Another film about a Christian girl being possessed by a demon. So many films and series have been made on this subject. More of a thriller than a horror film. Watchable if you have nothing else to watch. The suspense was good. Other than that, it's really unwatchable. I gave it a 4 out of 10.
