If nothing else, Diane Franklin was freaking hot as heck!

I could review the movie, but I think it would be more fun to review the characters. These people are Horriable People. They all are such deviants that I hate all of them as people. The film did something interesting with them in making the demon the least horrible character in the show. Watch this one just to experience a film where everyone sucks big time.

Nothing like the original, _Amityville II: The Possession_ is a clichéd, crazy mess. A pseudo prequel, the story follows the Montelli family as they move into the Amityville house and a series of strange occurrences lead to the son becoming possessed by an evil spirit that wants to kill. While supposedly based on the crime novel about the real-life DeFeo family murders, the liberties taken are pretty outrageous. Also, there aren’t that many likable characters, aside from the priest, to route for. _Amityville II: The Possession_ is an ugly film that’s poorly made and has no interest in the real mysteries of Amityville.

While not a good movie by any means, but believe it or not, out of all the Amityville movies, this is the first one I watched as a kid. I remembered this movie creeping my out, so in so strange way, I have this in a special place.

This was far better than the original. It had no attempt to copy the original. The story was predictable but it's still horrifying and enjoyable. The performance from the actors was great. I loved the make up effects in this one.
