What impressed me most about Night Courier wasn’t the crime story, but how real everything felt. Fahad never felt like a typical movie character. He felt like someone you could actually know. The neighborhoods, the streets, and the people all looked familiar, which made the story feel very believable. Mohammed Aldokhi gave an outstanding performance. My favorite scenes weren’t the loud or emotional ones, but the small moments that showed who Fahad really was. The scene where his employer tried to pressure him into resigning showed that he understood exactly what was happening and refused to be fooled. I also liked how he tried to support his sister’s project and how he struggled to keep his dignity despite everything he was going through. His decisions weren’t always right, but they always made sense. I also loved the way the movie was filmed. Even though most of it takes place at night, the city never felt too dark or hard to see. The streets still felt alive, and the atmosphere stayed realistic throughout the film. If I had one criticism, it would be that some supporting characters needed more development, and the pacing slowed down in a few scenes. Still, these issues didn’t affect my overall experience. Night Courier isn’t just a social drama. It feels like a story that could be happening in real life. You’re not just watching these characters—you feel like you’re spending time with them.

A moral dilemma of life

I do not understand the hype about the movie. Watched it at ZFF and while the images of Riad are nice, not only is the main character is whack (which is with some plots forgivable!) but also the story itself is uber boring. About one hour too long. Saw people around me constantly on their phone and I can’t even blame them.
